Here Comes The Rain
A 7 track electronic album (26m 8s) — released November 26th 2015 on OOH-sounds
London based italian producer Giordano Fiacchini, also known for his grime alter-ego Luru, drops his second ep under the Bangalore moniker on OOH-sounds.
Artistically born-and-raised under Burialʼs influence, Bangalore builds his new work 'Here Comes the Rain' using a vivid and organic sonic palette mainly built on processed field recordings and drastically pitched samples. Like in a sort of a travelogue, the seven tracks seem to meander through fictional jungle scenarios buried in a digital haze. Light vs dark, solid vs liquid, abstraction vs concreteness, present vs past - through a game of dramatic contrasts the album depicts a melancholic though artificial atmosphere, a sort of future-nostalgia. Being a drummer and a big metal fan in his early teens, Bangalore intricately lays these humid and hazy soundscapes on solid clear-cut drum beats, sculpting rhythmical patterns to shape a sort of modern primitivism. Tracks are topped with pitched vocals and dreamlike melodies, reminiscent of ancient tribal chants. A work that feels mature, articulated, structured, and affecting.

Itʼs an organic tale, a kind of shipʼs-log that uses a sonic palette built on contrasts to picture Bangaloreʼs vision like a sort of ʻfuture nostalgiaʼ. Organic vs digital, light vs dark, solid vs liquid, abstraction vs concreteness, present vs past. - Tom Durston Inverted Audio
A design that includes organic echoes, which takes nostalgic and emotional forms at the same time, and which manages to make abstraction and complexity a clear and harmonious language. Once again: this is a release that can not be missed and an artist who should not leave the radar. - Mutecontrol.com
